This wine is called the Dark Side for a reason; it’s very sexy color...dark, dark plum with a ruby-tinged lip.  The nose is rich, toasty, and chocolaty, with luscious dark cherries. Sensuous on the palate, this fruit has amazing weight, not your expected heavy oak tannin but more elegant tannin imparted from the thick fruit skins; so as it boldly rolls across your tongue you'll note the blueberries, moving into the dark rich cherry and plum. The finish is strong with this one!
