Caprese salad

 
 

Ingredients:

2.5 lbs variety of fresh Tomatoes. (Sungold cherry, Romas, etc)

1/4 cup Balsalmic Vinegar

1/4 cup Olive Oil

1 clove Garlic - minced

1 slice White Onion - minced

1 cup Shredded fresh Basil

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Pepper

Optional: 1-2 oz Prosciutto - fried until crispy to garnish.

Chop all tomatoes into 1" or so bite-sized pieces.

Add in Olive Oil and Balsalmic, stir.

Add the onion, garlic and spices with the basil, stir to mix well.

Cover bowl and refrigerate 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Crumble the crispy Prosciutto just before serving!
