2010 Orange |
Yes, we ferment right on the skins giving it a very distinctive flavors. Ok now
that you’re back, how about that color? A beautiful golden orange. The nose has hints of fermenting pear mixed with a mineraly earthy quality. As it moves across the palate it starts with not quite so ripe pear and apple that mix with spicy undertones. You will also notice a structure that only good tannins can supply and are balanced with a nice bit of acidity. The finish is ripe apple and melon that seem to linger like a big red. The first thing I thought to pair with this wine was a butternut squash soup. That’s why we call this one a winter white. Only A Few Cases Left |
