Yes, this wine has been 5 years in the making. The idea was to make something that bridges new world fruit with old-world styling. Complex, but forward fruit has been restrained with age and a full body of tannins has been tamed with time spent in neutral barrels.

The color is dark cherry, with a tinge of magenta on the lip. The nose is a restrained cassis and currant. On the palate, dark cherries and plums up-front lead to a lingering currant and cherry finish.
